View/Update Job Notes Using the Quick View Feature #
Head to a job sheet page by clicking on Open or closed Jobs in the main menu. From there, find the Quick Notes icon. If you can not see this, you may need to set is to be visible on your job sheet. To do this, follow the instructions here on managing the Job Sheet column data and ensure the Quick Note column is set to visible.

View/Update Job Notes via the Job Screen #
To view/edit the notes on the job screen, simply open the job you want to do this on, and scroll to the bottom of the page, where the notes section is.
View/Update the Job Notes #
Using either of the methods above, you will see the job notes form, shown below.
1. View the current job notes here. Notes left by your company are aligned right, and from the customer, aligned left. If the note was an internal note, it will be marked, as in the example. Notes are dated, timestamped and assigned to the user who left them, or who triggered the action which resulted in an automatic note.
2. This is where you would type any new notes.
3. If you check the Public Note option, then the note you have typed will be viewable by the customer via the Customer Portal, and will be output on any printed documents where you have selected the notes to be shown.
To Delete a note, simply press the red trash can next to the note you wish to delete.
