Attach photographs and supporting files to document the item’s condition and the work carried out.
Before you start #
- Open the correct customer’s job and have the files ready.
- Useful attachments include condition photographs, progress images, certificates and test documents.
Find Attachments #
Open the job and locate the Attachments section beside the main job information. It is a separate section, rather than a Job Details tab.

Select photographs or files #
Use browse files or My Device to choose files, or drag files into the upload area. Use Camera to capture an image on a supported device; allow camera access if prompted and you want to use it.
Review and upload #
Review the selected files in the uploader. Add more if needed, remove anything selected by mistake, then choose the upload button showing the number of files. Wait for the upload to finish and check that the attachments appear on the job.
Manage uploaded attachments #
Open an attachment to preview it. Where shown, use the star control to choose a featured image and drag attachments to reorder them. The delete control removes an attachment permanently, so check the file carefully before confirming deletion.
What happens next #
The uploaded files are available from the job. To include images in a customer email, select them explicitly using the email composer’s Attach Job Images option.
Common questions #
Why can’t I use the camera? #
Check that your device has a camera and that the browser allows camera access for Repair Pilot. You can upload an existing file from your device instead.
Are attachments emailed automatically when I upload them? #
