Create percentage discounts that can be assigned to customers or set as a customer type’s default discount.
Before you start #
- Choose a clear name for the discount and confirm the percentage to apply.

Open Customer Discounts #
Go to Settings → Customer Discounts under Customers.

Add a discount #
Choose Add Customer Discount.

Enter the discount #
Set the required Discount Name and Discount Amount %.

Save the discount #
Choose Save Discount.
What happens next #
The saved discount appears in the Customer Discounts list and can be selected as a default discount for a customer type.

Can I apply a discount automatically to a customer type?
Yes. Select it as the Default Discount when creating or editing a customer type.
Are discounts set as a percentage?
Yes. Enter the discount amount as a percentage.
