How to access and filter reports

Open a report in Repair Pilot, set the reporting period and use any filters available on that report to focus on the information you need.

Before you start #

  • Decide which question you want the report to answer, such as job activity, customer trends, team performance or stock.
  • Check that the report period you choose covers the dates you want to review.
1

Open Reports #

Select Reports from the main navigation. Browse the report groups or search for a report by name.

2

Choose a report #

Open the report that matches your question. The report page explains what it covers and shows the available charts, totals or data table.

3

Set the reporting period #

Use the date selector at the top of the report. Choose a preset such as This Month, Last 30 Days or All Time, or choose a custom date range when you need specific dates.

4

Use the report’s own controls #

Where available, use the report search, display options or sortable table headings to narrow or reorder the results. The controls vary by report; for example, the Customer Report lets you search customers and switch between the top customers and all customers.

What happens next #

The report displays figures for the selected period. Some reports also show a comparison period and explain how their figures are calculated; use About this report where it appears.

Common questions #

Can I use the same filters on every report?
No. The date range is available across reports, while search, display and table controls depend on the report.

Why does the report compare dates I did not select?
Some reports show a comparison period alongside the selected period. Check the dates displayed on the report before comparing results.
